Crystal left Bantry Bay on a mission, to work somewhere new and with an inspiring head chef. Lucky for us her journey brought her here. Our local chef loves the diversity of Franschhoek and true to her passion with pastry says she cannot imagine working in a kitchen without a thermal mixer or a bit of old school R&B.
While Crystal is a big fan of the variety of dishes on the menu, she is most proud of having an input into the menu and the ability for the whole team to work together to perfect each dish. Always one to strive for perfection you will hear her say “you make it nice or you will make it twice”. Listen up!
