Terms & Conditions

Le Petit Manoir Pty Ltd is a business in the hospitality industry that provides guest five-star accommodation in Franschhoek.

 

 

  1. Reservation and Payment:

   – Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person.

   – A valid credit card or payment in advance is required to secure the reservation.

   – Full payment must be made upon check-in, unless otherwise agreed upon.

  1. Cancellation & Refund Policy:

   – Cancellation requests must be made in writing or through the booking platform.

   – Guest can cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival.

   – If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.

   – If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.

   – If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.

   – No-shows will be charged for the entire reservation.

   – An additional administration fee of 3% will be applied to all refunds.

   – Refund requests will be processed within 7 working days.

  1. Check-in and Check-out:

   – Check-in time is from 15:00, and check-out time is by 11:00.

   – Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged, subject to availability and additional charges.

   – Guests must present a valid ID and Credit Card used for booking upon check-in.

  1. Occupancy and Additional Guests:

   – Occupancy per room is 2 with the maximum occupancy per room is 3.

   – Additional guest (1) may be accommodated in certain rooms, subject to availability and extra charges will apply per night.

  1. Damages and Liabilities:

   – Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the guesthouse property during their stay.

   – The guesthouse is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.

   – Guests are advised to use the provided safety deposit boxes in the suites for valuable items.

  1. House Rules:

   – Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the guesthouse. Designated smoking areas are available.

   – Pets are not allowed.

   – Excessive noise or disturbance that may inconvenience other guests is not permitted.

   – Illegal activities are strictly prohibited, and guests will be reported to the authorities.

   – The minimum age for check-in is 18.

  1. Services and Amenities:

   – Stay is inclusive of daily housekeeping & breakfast.

   – Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap & lotion is available in the room upon check-in and will be replace as needed during your stay.

   – Bedding, Towels, In-Room Hairdryer, Safe, Coffee & Tea available for the guest in the suites.

   – Room & Pool service is available to our in-house guest.

   – 24 Hour Reception.

   – SPA treatments, Airport shuttles & Laundry can be arranged with prior notice at an extra fee.

   – Any additional services requested may incur extra charges.

   – A discreet service fee of 12% may also be added on to your stay, if not included.

  1. Termination of Stay:

   – The guesthouse reserves the right to terminate a guest’s stay if they violate the terms and conditions or disturb other guests.

   – In such cases, no refunds will be provided.

  1. Privacy Policy:

   – The guesthouse respects and protects guests’ personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

   – Guest information may be used for communication, marketing, and statistical purposes, with the option to opt-out.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

    – Any disputes arising from the terms and conditions will be subject to the laws and jurisdiction of the relevant country or state.

  1. Payment option accepted:

   – Payments may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer (eft) into Le Petit Manoir Pty Ltd bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

  1. Card acquiring and security:

    All transactions will be processed securely via Peach Payments (Pty) Ltd, an approved payment gateway for the major South African acquiring banks. Peach Payments uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Transport Layer Security (TLS) and card data is secured in line with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS).   1. Customer details separate from card details:

   – Customer details will be stored by Le Petit Manoir Pty Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the client on Peach Payment’s secure site. For more detail on Peach Payment refer to www.peachpayments.com .

  1. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency:

    – The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR)

  1. Responsibility

    – Le Petit Manoir Pty Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website,
    customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

16.  Country of domicile:

– This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Le Petit Manoir Pty chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 373 Val de Vie Estate, Paarl, 7646.

17. Variation:

– Le Petit Manoir Pty Ltd may in its sole direction , change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

18. Company information:

– This website is run by Le Petit Manoir Pty Ltd based in South Africa, trading as Le Petit Manoir Franschhoek with registration number: 2016/210853/07 and owned by Brian Groenewald & JP Lombard.
